This is a story of the Miller family flee to the dark side. Mark at the age of seventeen came out as gay to both his parents his senior year in high school. This was in advance of him announcing this while giving the Student Valedictorian speech at graduation.
Mary Miller, Mark's mother when learning of this went clinically insane. Having the smartest student at the high school was one thing, but you cannot add gay. The gay guy stayed in the closet and studied the whole time in high school. According to Mary that would be cheating.
Marshal Miller, Mark's father was equally surprised and disappointed that he son had this secret. He they been able to talk about this stuff early, his parents would have been more prepared. He made it clear it didn't matter. He love him and he swore it would change anything. It will just take some time to get use to then idea.
Martin Miller, was Marshal's dad, Mark's grandfather over family dinner reveals that he did gay stuff back in the Navy. There are a few Vet's he does gay stuff with after their poker game on Friday night. Marshal was freaking out. Mark said he knew grandpa was a dirty old man. Mary was sitting quietly at the table rocking back and forth.
The door bell rings Mark goes to answer it . A swat team moves in to arrest Mary Mary's mother for attempted murder. Mary's Psychiatrist is a mandated reporter and informed the police Mary had a plan to murder herself and her interior family. The Spaghetti and Meatballs included a full box of rat poison. Which they had substituted baking soda. A hidden camera in the kitchen showed she added it to the sauce right before serving. Mary was taking to the state mental heath hospital for clinically insane.
For about a week everyone was in shock. Food was picked up or delivered. Mark gave his sheep as planned and even the administration seemed impressed. It was a awesome sixteen minute speech That ended with...

Mary's thing's finally get packed and placed in the basement. She won't becoming back there. Yet Marshall is still legally married and he has to petition for a divorce. That could take years. Martin takes over the cooking and the Miller house takes on a mancave feel.
Martin's Friday night poker games our now at their house. Five vets, includes Martin. Mark sit's in on a game one Friday. While all five do gay stuff three are still married. All have gay people in their family just like the Martins. Then the old men start taking about fixing mark up with someone.
Two weeks later Friday Night poker is a party of ten. Marshal is included due to the amount of free food and booze. Everyone was having a great time they set up two games of five people. Weird five Vet's were together and the three new guys Mark and Marshal. After three rounds two people were out. The vet, and the new guy go to the kitchen and get the buffet ready and deliver beers.
Two more rounds the new table is taking longer. Two more people out they ice down the beer again. The poker game become one table of six. Martin and Ben a vet friend his gay grandson Josh was the first new guy that dropped out, he goes to college with Mark and attends a lecture class but sits in the back, Mark sits in the front.
The other two men are actually a gay couple Martin invited to seduce his son Marshal to the dark side as Mary had called it. After that many beers and years without Marshal finally gave in. He would repeat for weeks. all sex feels great it does matter who guy or girl it is with.
The picture was that first conversation where we all admitted we preferred gay stuff. Females turned us off due to the baggage and rat poison. Mark and Josh were moving in with each other to try living as boyfriends together. Martin and the Vets were slowly expanding the group. Marshall let a slightly younger gay guy he works with move in. David was determined to be the perfect wife. They got caught at work so David had to quit because of the relationship. Marshall gave him a reference that got him a better job five days later. Gay stuff just worked better for us at this point in our lives.
