David - How the hell are you, Bro?

Joe - Still gay and you?

David - Not since post prom when you and I did gay stuff and that whole summer before college.

Joe - That was two years ago are you still pretending you are straight for your parents.

David - Ouch that hurt but something like that.

Joe - What are you not telling me?

David - I am only gay for you dude. I just don't feel okay being gay with just anyone. We were best friends; you were safe because I trusted you not to tell my parents. Gay stuff happened and I loved every minute of it. It was the coming out part I can't do any time soon.

Joe - Define any time soon.

David - Graduation form this place in 432 days. So why did you transfer to Reno and decided to transfer back?

Joe - Coming out was moving to Reno to get away from all the questions, and a chance to be gay. Everyone is over the shock now and they want me back home. Did you hear my dad had a stroke?

David - Nothing like a near death experience to bring a person to their senses. It was a topic we discussed as a family. My dad noted your fathers evolving on the gay issue. Then told us to kill him before any of comes out, because that is what he will do to us after we come out.

Joe - Okay that's harsh and would be a reason to delay coming out and moving out of the state to a larger closet. I had no idea it was that bad. It sounds like my coming out made things harder for you and your dad. Did it?

David - Bro we were best friends for over two years. We stop hanging out and a month later you come out and tell the world you are gay. My dad asked a lot of questions. I lied to him. He probably knows I am gay, and the fact scares him to death. Makes him a failure as a dad, I guess.

Joe - It is so great to see you, you look freaking awesome. If you really feel that way. Any chance you want to do gay stuff with me again?

David - Several times a day, for the rest of my life, with the next fourteen months in a slightly larger closet where I currently live alone would be awesome with you in the closet with me.

Joe - Your place right now and for the rest of our lives... Sounds wonderful I am staying with my parents and looking for a place and a job.

David - My dad pays the rent you can stay with me for free, he would never know as long as we shower together.

Joe - Where is this place? I am ready to get naked and confirm this arrangement.

David - About fifty yards fourth floor the apartment building above the Subway's and Book Store. Wanna race...?

David takes off as Joe protests his head start in the so-called race. Both boys beaming with the idea of what is about to happen between them. David would go on to graduate without any college debt thanks to his father. He and Joe would announce wedding plans after college. David's father went insane for three days and then came around.

David's mother seems to have some influence over his decision. It was shortly after we all discover my father has a gay bother he has been hiding in a closet in California. Uncle David had married his high school sweetheart dropped two kids with his wife by the age of twenty-one. His little brother John (David's father) followed suite and married his high school sweetheart, and they dropped David twenty-one years ago when his mom a dad was a year out of high school. Naming his son after his big brother who had got him a job with Yellow Freightways as a Truck Driver.

The year David turned three his Uncle David and his wife members of the Church of God Assembly. It would seem the church choir had an issue when seven of its members came down with a social disease. All traced back to their truck driving husbands who do gay stuff with each other behind the backs of their wives. At least until now. Uncle David's wife took off with someone else's husband. She left the two children in the hand of her bisexual husband. Whose embarrassment to his family caused him to move to another state.

Turns out Uncle David is flying in for a visit and he and the kids will be at the wedding. John David's father simply will tell you I evolved; I got it wrong. if you stick around, you will hear ...

John - I missed having a big brother, I was the first one to know Uncle David was gay. I never told anyone. Our dad went insane. I went crazy, and Uncle David moved and stays away. Today that changed we had a conversation.
